Easy Recipe For Guiness Prawns with Scallion Remoulade

1 cup mayonnaise
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
¼ cup minced dill pickle
¼ cup scallion diced
¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp Old Bay seasoning
1 Tbsp flat-leaf parsley
½ tsp lemon juice
2 lb(s) large shrimp peeled and de-viened
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 stalks celery stalks, thinly sliced
2 bay leaves
1 tsp salt
12 oz Guinness


1. Stir together rémoulade ingredients in a bowl and chill, covered, 1 hour.


1. Toss shrimp with lemon, onion, celery, bay leaves and salt in a large bowl, then marinate, covered, at room temperature 15 minutes.

2. Bring beer to a boil in large sauté pan. Transfer shrimp with marinade to steamer/colander insert and steam over liquid, covered, 3 minutes.

3. Stir shrimp, and then continue to steam, stirring again if necessary, until just cooked through, 3 to 5 minutes more.
